Consistent with the Agreement between the North Canton City Schools Board of Education and the North Canton Education Association, the following position is being posted for the period of October 24, 2024, through November 7, 2024, or until filled.

 

Long-Term Substitute High School Biology Teacher

• Building: Hoover High School
• Full-time
• Effective Dates: Starting approximately February 12, 2025, and going through approximately May 16, 2025
  • Note: dates could change slightly 
• Required Licensure: Applicants must have either an Ohio Substitute Teaching license or a regular teaching license in any subject and be on the Stark County Educational Service Center list of approved substitute teachers (anyone with a Bachelor's Degree or a current teaching license can apply to be on the list)
  • Preference will be given to applicants who have a teaching license certifying them to teach high school life sciences or biology or they at least have some level of expertise in high school biology/life science
