Consistent with the Agreement between the North Canton City Schools Board of Education and the North Canton Education Association, the following position is being posted for the period of November 1, 2024, until filled.

Full-Time Career Technical Education Welding Teacher

• Building: Hoover High School 
• Full-time
• Effective Dates: 2025-26 school year
  • Start date around August 14, 2025 (school calendar not yet finalized)
• Licensure Requirement: Career Technical licensure with proper certification to teach courses in Manufacturing Operations
  • Temporary license can be secured if the candidate does not already possess a teaching license but is willing to complete coursework
• There will be some extended days during spring 2025 and/or summer 2025 prior to the 2025-26 school year for which the teacher will be paid to prepare for opening the new welding program at Hoover High School
