Consistent with the Agreement between the North Canton City Schools Board of Education and the North Canton Education Association, the following position is being posted for the period of April 18 - 24, 2024, or until filled.

Preschool through 2nd Grade Intervention Specialist

• Building: North Canton Primary School
• Full-time
• Effective Dates: 2024-25 school year
• Primary responsibilities will include:
  • Plan and deliver specially designed instruction and general education instruction in a small group or a one-on-one setting to preschool students with disabilities (i.e., children with IEPs) that could include academic, speech, social emotional, and/or behavioral interventions
  • Plan and deliver specially designed instruction in a small group or a one-on-one setting to students in grades K-2 with moderate to intensive disabilities (i.e., children with IEPs)
• Licensure Requirement: Must possess either an Early Childhood (P-3) or a Primary (P-5) general education teaching license and one of the following:
  • Intervention Specialist (P-3) license
  • Intervention Specialist (P-5 license)
  • Pre-Kindergarten Special Needs endorsement
